The centre is expected to be located at Mimosa Mountain pass which is about 10 kilometers from the centre of Da Lat city with a total area of 16.6 ha and designed capacity of 2.5 million flower branches for peak day. With this, about 550 million flower branches are forecast to be sold each year.  

The project is evaluated to be feasible and necessary to create a reliable regulation mechanism for flower products of the city, thereby, the value and prestige of the trademark flower products will be improved. 

Da Lat and the surrounding areas have comparative advantages in natural conditions and climate for developing high-quality flower plantation and are considered the centre of producing fresh flowers of Vietnam, with 40% of area for cut flowers, and 50% of the country’s total flower production.

Each year, the city provides 2.4 billion flower branches of all kinds for domestic market and exports./.
