Computers, electronics and spare parts have surpassed garment to become the second largest currency earner in first four months of this year, according to the General Statistics Office.

Specifically, the sector raked in USD12.14 billion during the period, up 26 percent year-on-year.

Of the figure, USD3.42 billion was from China, up 40.9 percent.

Other major markets include the European Union with USD1.55 billion, down 6.3 percent; the USD2.67 billion, or a 2.1-fold increase; Hong Kong USD945 million, up 33.6 percent; and the Republic of Korea USD851 million, down 9.7 percent./.
