Ensuring security and safety for Dung Quat’s offshore projects

The Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical (BSR) JSC has coordinated with the Quang Ngai Border Guard Headquarters to review association in ensuring the security and safety of offshore projects of Dung Quat Oil Refinery Plant.

In his speech, BSR Deputy General Director Khuong Le Thanh said security ensuring at offshore projects of the plant remained stable, especially in the rainy season of 2017, with no case affecting production or business activities of Dung Quat.
The two sides disseminated security and safety maintenance for the plant at five communes: Binh Chau, Binh Thuan, Binh Tri, Binh Hai, and Tinh Ky, with the participation of 800 staff and people.
Colonel Doan Thanh Long, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Quang Ngai Border Guard Headquarters, said his unit guided specialized sections to carry out maintenance and repairing of facilities and equipment to be ready to perform tasks at offshore projects in the next 4-month rainy season.
On this occasion, the two sides pledged to jointly work out plans to arrange forces and facilities to realize missions and sign agreements for 2019./.
