Specifically, from April 1st, 2018, Chinese enterprises importing fruits from Vietnam should provide the image of packaging with product traceability information as they carry out procedures for import quarantine permits.

The information should include name of fruit products, origins, and name or packing code in Chinese or English. Enterprises can add labels, bar codes, QR codes or anti-counterfeit stamp to be able to check at any time.

The department has also informed Vietnamese fruit traders to actively associate with Chinese importers to follow the regulation./.
