The Hanoi city People’s Committee has issued Decision approving the scheme of a vending machine network at public places by 2020.

Accordingly, Hanoi will install and use about 1,000 automatic vending machines at public locations, such as campus of hospitals, schools, bus stations passenger terminals, historical relics, landscapes, parks, flower gardens and more.
Depending on the actual demand, four vending machines can be placed at the same location; ensuring the distance of 500-1,000 meters.
The use of solar-powered machines is encouraged with security and safety monitoring devices (cameras) during the process of operation./.
