Head of PCC Commission for Economics works with Quang Binh's leaders

During a meeting with voters in Bo Trach district on August 4th, on behalf of the Quang Binh’s NA deputies delegation, Mr. Nguyen Van Binh reported the results of the 14th NA’s first session.

Together with consolidating senior personnel of the State, the NA approved a resolution on the balance sheet of the State budget and Resolution on building law and decree-law for 2017 and adjusting program of building law and decree-law in 2016. In addition, the session debated and assessed the implementation of socio-economic development plans and state budget in the first half of the year and solutions to realize socio-economic development plans and budget revenue in the second half of the year.

Bo Trach’s voters expressed their happiness with the results the session achieved and showed their high consensus with contents in the speech made by the Head of the provincial NA deputies delegation about recent environmental issues.

They hoped the State and Government would ask functional agencies to closely supervise Formosa’s wastewater discharge process and to quickly give conclusions to help local people know when sea water really cleans and when fisherpersons can go offshore.

Earlier, at the working with the Quang Binh Party Committee on August 3rd, Mr. Hoang Dang Quang, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee reported the socio-economic situation of the locality in the first half of the year; the establishment of overall socio-economic development scheme by 2020; the implementation of Quang Trach thermo-electricity project and other big projects in the locality; and mechanisms, policies for Quang Binh’s socio-economic development.

In the first six months of the year, the province solved jobs for 19,200 workers, 58.2% of the year’s plan; saw industrial production value rising 9% over a year earlier and contributed over VND1.36 trillion to the state budget, up 0.6% or 45.5% of the year’s plan.

In his speech at the working, Mr. Nguyen Van Binh recognized and hailed the efforts and achievements the province made in the first half of the year and agreed with missions and solutions for the second half of the year, especially contents of action programs to realize Resolution of the 16th Quang Binh Party Congress./.
