Ho Chi Minh city has 29,921 newly-formed enterprises in 9 months

In the first nine months of the year, Ho Chi Minh city saw 29,921 new enterprises licensed for establishment, with a total registered capital of VND396.493 trillion, up 13% in number of enterprises and up 84.5% in registered capital over a year earlier.

The newly-established enterprises are mainly gathered in District 1, Tan Binh, Go Vap, Binh Thanh, and Binh Tan districts.
During the period, 44,807 enterprises registered for changing business with an added capital of VND218.273 trillion, up 11.2% and 49.6%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
Total newly-registered and added capital is VND614.766 trillion, a year-on-year increase of 70.4%.
Among newly-established enterprises, one-member limited liability companies accounted for the highest proportion with 17,546 enterprises (58.6%); followed by two or more member limited liability companies with 8,387 (28%), joint stock company with 3,581 (11.9%); and private enterprises with 404 (1.4%)./.
