Ho Chi Minh city: Nearly VND155 billion to expand Le Duc Tho street

The Ho Chi Minh city Department of Transport will kick off the repair project of Le Duc Tho street in Go Vap district with a budget of VND154.9 billion at the end of August 2017.

Of the budget, spending for compensation and premise clearance is VND111.6 billion, and the rest is for construction and other costs.

Le Duc Tho street, with section from Trung Dai Bridge to Cut bridge being about 600 meters in length and about 6.5-7 meters in road surface width, will be upgraded and expanded to 20 meters, including four lanes for traffic and 6 meters for pavement.

Mr. Pham Ngoc Dung, Deputy Director of Urban Traffic Management Department No.3, said there are about 70 households and three units under the area of compensation and clearance.

Currently, the Go Vap district premise clearance and compensation board is paying compensation expenses to the households and units./.
