Hoc Mon district calls upon investment in 23 projects

The 23 land areas which call upon investment have an area of more than 2,624 hectares, mostly agricultural land with potential value as planned and with waterway and road connections.

On September 29, the Hoc Mon district People’s Committee organized a meeting to introduce planning and invite investment in the district. The event was attended by more than 200 investors.

At the event, Hoc Mon provided full information about the planning, current status and reference prices of the 23 land areas.

The 23 projects include 9 urban projects and the rest are trade, services, industrial parks, rural residential areas, eco-tourism, garden houses, hi-tech agriculture, green parks and sports areas, Mr. Duong Hong Thang, Chairman of the Hoc Mon district People’s Committee said.

Currently, Hoc Mon achieves 29 out of 30 criteria to become a district with 6 out of 12 communes having rapid urbanization speed. The connecting road traffic system which will be formed in the near future is plentiful, such as Ring Road 3, Ho Chi Minh City – Moc Bai highway, Phan Van Hon parallel road and waterway traffic routes running on the Saigon River.

In order to realize development targets in the next 5-10 years, the district commits to promote administrative reform, creating the most favorable conditions for investors./.
