The move aims to have most popular public services related to people and enterprises provided at level 3, which allows applicants to fill in and submit the forms online.

In addition, the portal will allow the use of online fees payment, receiving documents and returning results via the Internet or email (online public services at level 4).

In his speech at the event, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Ha Cong Tuan said the move complies with the Prime Minister’s Decision 08 and the Government’s Resolution 36a/NQ-CP on e-government.

To implement the provision of online public services at the level 3 and 4, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development defined the Plant Protection Department and Livestock Production Department as pioneers for the task, because they have many administrative formalities related to the activities of enterprises and people.

Since 2016, the Livestock Production Department has received and dealt with some 40,000 documents via online public services and customs one-stop shop at level 4, helping firms save nearly VND70 billion and cutting time use in half./.
