Mining Vietnam 2018 lures 170 companies

(CPV) - More than 170 companies from 22 countries and territories displayed and introduced their products at the 4th International Mining and Minerals Recovery Exhibition (Mining Vietnam 2018) which opened on April 18th, in Hanoi.

Specifically, the event saw the appearance of 9 international booth groups from England, Germany, Russia, Singapore, China and Australia. Many technological solutions were exhibited on an area of nearly 4,000 square meters, bringing practical and useful experiences.

This year’s edition attracted the participation of a multitude of key industry players, leading manufacturers, suppliers and distributors such as Fong Chuan Machinery, Germanbelt, Hamakyu, Nippon Eirich, Sealtech Vietnam, and especially the country’s largest state-owned mining group - Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group.

Mr. BT Tee, General Manager of UBM VES Exhibition Services, a member of UBM Asia, the organizer of Mining Vietnam 2018 shared: “Although the past few years have proved to be another difficult period for the global mining market, Mining Vietnam has continued to maintain its scope and reputation, attracting a large number of local and international industry movers and shakers.”

On the sidelines, Mining Vietnam 2018 will present an extensive business matching program, technical presentations and educational seminars, covering the most topical issues in the mining industry, from resource exploration to extraction and beyond, to mine closure and management of post-mining issues.

The seminars are expected to draw the attention of various senior government officials, business owners, technical experts and representatives from homegrown and overseas mining associations./.
