Over 2,000 startups to join SURF 2018

(CPV) - The third international startup conference and exhibition in central Vietnam (SURF 2018) will be organized in Da Nang on June 29th with the participation of more than 2,000 startups.

This information was revealed by Mr. Vo Duy Khuong, founder of Da Nang Startup Council (DSC) and Chairman of
Da Nang Entrepreneurship Supporters (DNES), in a press conference held on May 28
th.
With the theme “Link the waves”, SURF 2018 will create connection for components of the start-up ecosystem, opening opportunities for startups in investment capital, human resources, business cooperation, and product promotion.
It will have more than 60 projects, 50 booths displaying creative products and services, and will be attended by 30 famous lecturers and 300 computer programers.
The conference will focus on issues including start-up capital and exhibitions, meetings and competitions for the five most important types of capital: financial capital, human capital, social capital, local capital and technological capital. While the exhibition will highlight a presentation competition on start-up projects with the biggest prize of VND100 million.
In addition, SURF 2018 will include diversified activities such as connecting party night, recruitment day and university tour./.
