Over 75,700 firms established in seven months

The country has had 75,793 newly-established enterprises with a total registered capital of more than VND771 trillion in the Jan-July period, a 3.9% rise in number of enterprises and a 11.6% increase in registered capital compared to the same period last year, according to General Statistics Office.

Regarding more than VND1.4 quadrillion of increased capital of ongoing enterprises, the total capital contributing to the economy in the seven months reaches more than VND2.2 quadrillion.
In addition, 18,696 enterprises recovered their operation during the period, a year-on-year rise of 6.5%; bringing the number of enterprises registering for new establishment and those resuming operation to nearly 95,000.
The newly-formed enterprises registered more than 623,000 workers in the seven months.
The number of enterprises suspending operation is 59,910, a year-on-year rise of 38.4% while 7,714 enterprises are dissolved, a year-on-year increase of 16.7%./.
