PetroVietnam works with BSR

A delegation of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam-PVN), led by Mr. Doan Linh, Head of the office of board of members, has worked with Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical (BSR) JSC about the development strategy of the company to 2020, with a vision to 2030.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Xuan Huyen said the successful upgrade and expansion of Dung Quat Oil Refinery Plant is a key task for the development of BSR. Currently, the Nghi Son Oil Refinery Plant in Thanh Hoa province comes into operation and BSR considers the plant as direct competitive rival as well as partner for mutual development.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Hoa, member of the Board of Directors of BSR, said the company should develop its oil and petrol distribution system to be active in production and business activities, contributing to increasing profit for the company.
While Mr. Nghiem Duc Duong, Deputy General Director of BSR and Head of the Management Board for the upgrade and expansion of Dung Quat Oil Refinery, said the biggest difficulty for the implementation of the project is capital arrangement while proposing PVN actively support capital for the company.
For his part, Mr. Doan Linh stressed BSR should make breakthroughs in the oil refinery field in order to create more products to consumers and work with PVOil and relevant units to survey the development of oil and petrol distribution system./.
