Piloting establishment of Food Safety Management Board in southern hub

The management board is an organ under the city People’s Committee with the function of helping the authority conduct legal enforcement of food safety and hygiene in the southern hub. It has legal status with individual seal and account at the State Treasury and Bank.

The city People’s Committee regulates the function, duties, authority and organizational structure of the management board.

It will have one Head and less than three Deputy Heads with specialized divisions, office, inspection, and public service units. The personnel of the management board is included in the total workforce of the city People’s Committee.

The pilot establishment will be effective for three years after the Decision is signed./.
