(CPV) - The 12th international trade show for Vietnam’s expanding food, drink and pharmaceutical industries (ProPak Vietnam 2017) opened on March 21st at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, in Ho Chi Minh city.

The event lured the participation of more than 400 exhibitors from 28 countries and territories, such as China, Denmark, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Taiwan (China) and Thailand.
This year, the show witnessed the attendance of Indian pavilions of 35 companies. The number of pavilions increased by 40% from the 2016 event.
With more than 400 exhibitors showcasing a wide array of cutting-edge processing and packaging machinery, technologies and services, ProPak Vietnam serves as an important platform that enables innovation across multiple industries, from food and beverage to cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and chemical.
This annual event offers unparalleled opportunity for attendees to experience advanced technological innovations in action, identify broad packaging trends, enhance business connections and discover new ideas for production line improvement and expansion.
The exhibition will close on March 23rd.
