(CPV) - The 13th international exhibition on processing and packaging (ProPak Vietnam 2018) and the 7th international exhibition on technology, machinery and materials for plastics and rubber (Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2018) opened in Ho Chi Minh city on March 20th.

Mr. BT Tee, General Director of SES Vietnam Exhibition Services, the organizer of the events, said that ProPak Vietnam 2018 attracted more than 420 businesses from 29 countries and territories with 11 booth groups of India, Germany, the Republic of Korea, Japan and Thailand.
Meanwhile, Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2018 was attended by about 160 businesses from 20 countries and territories with seven booth groups of Austria, Czech Republic and Singapore.
The two events aim to introduce an array of abundant products, materials, machinery, equipment and technology in the plastics, rubber, processing and packaging sectors.
Mr. Paolo Lemma, Italian Trade Counselor to Vietnam, said that most companies joining the two exhibitions have distributors, agents or representative offices and branches in Vietnam. In addition, foreign businesses are looking for further cooperation opportunities in the developing market, as well as consolidating cooperative relations with Vietnamese businesses and seeking new partners.
