Quang Ngai kicks off construction of Dung Quat industrial town

A ground-breaking ceremony on August 10th kicked off construction of the Dung Quat industrial town in Binh Son district, the central province of Quang Ngai.

The project covers 1,303 hectares and is divided into two phases with the first phase being built on 319 hectares.
In the short term, the first phase will be implemented from the third quarter of 2016 to the second quarter of 2019 with a total capital of over VND2.02 trillion.
It will focus on building the infrastructure for the industrial park, including a wastewater treatment station with a capacity of 100,000 cubic meters per day.
The project aims to draw enterprises in the areas of production and assembling of electricity, electronics and telecommunication devices; production of auto and plane components and parts; food and drinks; chemical, medicines and pharmacy; textiles, garments and dyeing; and other light industries.
It will operate within 50 years./.
