Quang Ninh has 820 more enterprises formed in eight months

The northern province of Quang Ninh saw an additional 820 enterprises registered for new establishment with a total capital of VND5.61 trillion from the start of the year, a 18% rise in number of enterprises and a 24% reduction in capital from a year earlier.

According to the provincial Department of Planning and Investment, the newly-formed enterprises also registered to recruit 13,200 workers during the period.
On average, registered capital per enterprise reached VND7.46 billion.
Ha Long city attracted the biggest newly-formed enterprises with 398, making up 48%, followed by Cam Pha city with 138 (16%) and Dong Trieu town with 76 (9%).
By June 30th, Quang Ninh saw 7,776 enterprises in operation with 98% of them being small and medium-sized enterprises, while 284 suspended enterprises recovered operation, up 21.8% year on year. In the six months, the enterprises contributed over VND10.8 trillion to the state budget./.
