Some 1,700 tons of rice relief for Quang Binh and Soc Trang

Prime Minister (PM) Nguyen Xuan Phuc has assigned the Ministry of Finance to supply 1,700 tons of rice from the national reserve to Quang Binh and Soc Trang provinces to aid local people during the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet).

Specifically, Quang Binh and Soc Trang provinces will be provided with 1,669.22 tons and 29.655 tons, respectively.
The Ministry of Labor, War-Invalids and Social Affairs will be responsible for proposed quantity; the two People’s Committees will receive and use the granted rice supply properly and responsibly.
Earlier, aiming to timely provide rice to localities during the Tet holiday, the PM issued decisions granting 12,415.2 tons of rice from the national reserve.
Specifically, the Government leader decided to supply 1,578.135 tons of rice to Quang Binh; 379.35 tons to Yen Bai; 625.275 tons to Cao Bang; 418.935 tons to Ha Nam; 310.29 tons to Tuyen Quang; 650.25 tons to Thanh Hoa; 1,766.265 tons to Nghe An; 1,485.99 tons to Quang Tri; 247.86 tons to Lao Cai; 1,134.465 tons to Ninh Thuan; 400 tons to Dak Nong; 577.125 tons to Kon Tum; 1,718 tons to Quang Ngai; 605.265 tons to Gia Lai; and 500 tons to Dak Lak./.
