Southern city to organize safe agricultural products fair

The Ho Chi Minh city Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has received approval to pilot a fair for safe agricultural products at Le Van Tam park, District 1.

The fair will run for three months in accordance with the approval and policy of the city People’s Committee.
The city’s leader asked the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to closely coordinate with the District 1 People’s Committee and Department of Transport to ensure safety and urban beauty.
According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the fair is organized to offer opportunities for producers, businesspersons and buyers to meet, buy and sell certified safe agricultural products.
In addition, the event also helps to create the custom of using products with clear origin and meeting the food safety and hygiene standards of VietGap and GlobalGap./.
