The plan is the careful preparation of the hub in order to remove the current difficulties and shortcomings to improve quality of life, as well as propose measures to successfully implement its seven break-through programs. In the short term, the hub will pilot the project in Districts 1 and 12.

Apart from enjoying a comfortable, positive, healthy and safe living environment, local people will gain access to low-cost energy, convenient public transport system, good medical services, high-quality education, fresh air, clean water, low crime rates and diverse recreational activities.

Besides, workers will have basic infrastructure services to ensure their competitive capacity in the world market: broadband internet, clean, stable and cheap energy, opportunities to study and affordable living space.

The smart city will also help local authorities effectively use natural resources, thereby improving the quality of services for its people and future generations.

In 2018, Ho Chi Minh city will focus on realizing the plan with the establishment of four centres for shared data, administration, imitation of strategies for the metropolis’ development issues and information security./.
