The Vietnam Farm and Food Expo 2017 and Agritech Vietnam 2017 opened at Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh (HCM) city on July 26th.

With nearly 200 kiosks of displays, the Vietnam Farm and Food Expo introduced organic products, agricultural products, food and beverage, and food and plant varieties from different localities nationwide.
Meanwhile, the Vietnam Agritech Expo featured the latest machinery, equipment and production chains serving agricultural activities.
Vice President of the HCM city Business Association Nguyen Phuoc Hung said the exhibitions offered opportunities for businesses to promote science-technology application, and improve quality and productivity in agricultural production, while seeking markets for Vietnamese farm produce.
He hoped the annual events would help businesses develop brands, promote trademarks and access new technology to create high value products in order to meet the domestic demand and exports.
On the sidelines, there was a conference on strengthening links for selling farm produce in Vinh Long, and Taiwan Expo 2017 with the theme “Green technology for smarter life” with more than 4,000 products and high-quality service from 150 big businesses.
The exhibitions, co-organized by HCM city Business Association and Dong Nam Company, closed on July 28th./.
