Vietnam promotes agricultural products at int’l fair in India

Vietnamese agricultural products was promoted at the 13th edition of Annapoorna World of Food which took place at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai city in India’s western state of Maharashtra on September 27th – 29th.

This event, jointly organized by Koelnmesse YA Tradefair Pvt Ltd. and Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) attracted about 150,000 visitors.

This year’s international trade fair covers an area of 35,000 m2 with the participation of more than 500 companies across the world, including Vietnam, Brazil, Australia, the Republic of Korea, Poland, China, Turkey and Italy.

Annapoorna World of Food India, over the years has successfully benchmarked itself as "the most important international sourcing trade fair for food and beverage trade, catering and retail market" in India and its neighbouring countries.

A wide range of Vietnamese products are introduced at the exhibition such as sweet, beverages and especially dragon fruit.

Director of Binh Thuan Department of Industry and Trade Do Minh Kinh expressed his hope that Vietnamese businesses will secure numerous contracts and sign trade deals at the event.

Since its inception, the Annapoorna World of Foodt has become the most important sourcing platform of the industry and is the leading meeting place for the food and beverage industry but also for the catering industry and the food retail.

Exhibitors show the complete range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and of food over fresh and organic products to frozen food.

The World of Food India is the ideal platform for export companies wanting to step into the future market of India, who want to present themselves as exhibitors to a professional audience and who would like to take the opportunity to develop new business.

The fair takes place parallel to the International Foodservice India, the international trade fair for catering and retail technology. Both exhibitions complement each other perfectly and reflect the entire supply chain of food, beverage and food service industry./.
