Vietnam tourism to be promoted in China

The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) will launch a market program in four cities of China, including Jinan, Hangzhou, Wu Han and Beijing, from April 12th to 22nd.

The move is part of national tourism promotion program for 2018.

In each locality, the VNAT’s working group will introduce the potential, tourism products and tourism development policy, with the focus on promoting Vietnam’s sea tourism.

At the same time, meetings and exchanges between travel agencies and hotels of Vietnam and China will be organized to enhance business cooperation opportunities and promote exchanges of tourists between the two sides.

In addition, the organ will coordinate with airlines to promote direct air routes and intensify the launch of direct air routes from China’s localities to Vietnam, in order to increase the ability of attracting more Chinese tourists in 2018 and the following years.

The program is expected to attract the participation of about 300 delegates being representatives of the Embassy of Vietnam in China, travel management agencies, travel businesses and hotels.

According to UNWTO’s forecast, with a population of more than 1.3 billion people, about 220 million Chinese will travel abroad in 2025./.
