Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises enhance economic cooperation

(CPV) - On October 6th-7th, the Foreign Affairs Department in association with the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam will organize a conference with Japanese enterprises in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province, to strengthen economic relations between enterprises of the two sides.

The conference aims to create opportunities for Vietnamese localities to enhance promotion and connection with APEC member economies under the framework of APEC Year 2017 in Vietnam.

The event will focus on discussing the situation, potential, opportunities and obstacles in cooperation between localities of the south of central region and Japanese enterprises. In addition, it will propose orientations and specific measures to further strengthen cooperative relations in fields of mutual interest.

Japanese participants include Ambassador Umeda Kunico, leaders of Japan International Cooperation Agency, Japan External Trade Organization, Japan Business Association in Vietnam, Japanese enterprises investing and doing business in Vietnam, and partners.

Vietnam will have the participation of leaders of seven localities of the south of central region (Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh, Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan, Phu Yen, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai) and representatives of related ministries and departments./.
