This positive result is largely thanks to key contributions of commodity groups with a turnover of USD1 billion or more, including seafood; wood and wood products; textile; footwear; computers, electronic products and components; phones and components; machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts; and means of transport and spare parts.

With total revenue of nearly USD35.54 billion, the above-mentioned commodity groups contributed 70.5% of the country's total export turnover.

Notably, as of March 15th, Vietnam had the first group of export goods with turnover reaching USD10 billion or more, while in the same period last year, no group achieved this result. Phones and components is the first commodity group to reach USD10 billion with a turnover of over USD10.2 billion, up nearly 8.5% over the same period last year.

By the end of February, phones and components contributed over 20% of the total export turnover of the country in the period. The main export markets of this group are still the US, the European Union, China and Republic of Korea./.
