Mr. Tran Quoc Vuong, member of the Politburo, standing member of the Secretariat said above at the working session with the Executive Board of the Vinh Phuc provincial Party Committee on the results of implementing the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress and the resolution of the 16th provincial Party Congress; Directive 35 of the Politburo on the Party Congress at all levels toward the 13th National Party Congress on June 28th.
Over the past tenure, the Party Committee, administration, armed forces and people of all ethnic groups in Vinh Phuc province have created and made efforts to reach many important and comprehensive achievements. The province has achieved and exceeded the set targets. The average growth rate of total product in the 2016-2020 period is predicted at 8%/year; budget revenue in 2019 reached over VND35 trillion; attracted USD3.12 billion of investment capital from Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) projects and VND60 trillion from Domestic Direct Investment projects.
By 2019, Vinh Phuc had 100% of communes meeting new-style rural area standards; it is expected that by the end of 2020, 100% of districts and cities will complete the public procedure standards and complete the task of new style rural area building; some communes and villages have been recognized as model and advanced new-style rural standards. The work of building and rectifying the Party in association with studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style and responsibility of setting an example continue to be implemented effectively.
In terms of implementation of Directive 35 of the Politburo, the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee has actively and firmly implemented the Directive under the direction and guidance of the Central Agency, ensuring that it is suitable with reality in locality. By the end of June 27th, the whole province had 100% of Party Cells under the Party Committee at grassroots level and 99.5% of Party cells and committees finished their congresses. The Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee has also selected and successfully organized Lap Thach district Party Congress as a model. After the model congress, the provincial Military Party Committee has successfully organized its Party Congress; Party districts and city committees are urgently completing preparation works to report to the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee for organizing the Party Congresses.
Speaking at the working session, Mr. Vuong asked Vinh Phuc province to continue strengthening solidarity and unity between cadres and party members and people in implementing political tasks and local socio-economic development.
He said that the province needs to be consistent with the set targets, maintain the growth rate, promote investment attraction.
Apart from exploiting the available natural strength, Vinh Phuc needs to promote the advantages of human resources; preserve and protect the natural landscapes and environment; create favorable conditions for enterprise development, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, to create jobs for employees; focus on improving people’s living standard, and continue to consolidate achievements gained during the process of building the new-style rural areas, he added./.
