Zhejiang Export Fair to be held in Ho Chi Minh city

More than 100 enterprises from China’s Zhejiang province will bring their machinery products, electrical appliances, textiles and household products to Vietnam to join the Zhejiang Export Fair in Ho Chi Minh city.

The fair, co-organized by Zhejiang Trade Department and Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company, will take place from August 2
nd to 4
th at Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Center.
Covering an area of 4,000 square meters, the fair will have 150 booths, with the participation of 106 enterprises.
This is one of the largest and longest-held fairs organized by China’s Zhejiang province in ASEAN. It was held for the first time since 2011 and has so far contributed to promoting openness, stimulating long-term cooperation and creating a platform for economic and trade exchanges between the two sides.
In 2017, export and import turnover between Zhejiang and Vietnam reached about USD7.93 billion, up 16%. Of this, Zhejiang’s exports were valued at USD6.02 billion and imports were worth USD1.92 billion./.
