Vietnam opposes China’s military drill in East Sea

China’s plan to carry out military exercises in an area that covers Vietnam’s Hoang Sa (Paracel) in the East Sea has once again seriously violated Vietnam’s sovereignty over the archipelago, said Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Le Hai Binh on July 4th.

A launching ceremony to collect materials and souvenirs for Hoang Sa Exhibition House was held in Da Nang city on July 3rd. 

 Over 10 tonnes of Vietnamese litchi appear in Australia

More than 10 tonnes of Luc Ngan litchi were exported to Australia from June 23rd to 29th, said the Vietnamese Commercial Affairs office in Australia.This year, the price of litchi imported to Australia is lower than last year due to decrease in transport fees to Vietnam’s southern region for irradiation. The litchi shipment was carried by air.

Vietnam Summer Camp 2016 offers various significant activities

The Vietnam Summer Camp 2016, with the theme “Overseas Vietnamese youth with national cultural heritages”, will take place from July 10th - 23rd in localities of Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Da Nang.

Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia active in citizen protection

The Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia has conducted measures to ensure citizen protection following Cambodian forces’ arrest of 84 Vietnamese people on July 1st.
