As many as 130 delegates to attend APEC 2017 Voices of the Future

The APEC 2017 Voices of the Future (VOF) forum, themed “Creating New Dynamism, Fostering a Shared Future”, will be held from November 5th to 11th in Quang Nam and Da Nang.
It will attract the participation of 130 delegates from 21 APEC economies, including 110 foreign delegates and 20 delegates from Vietnam.
The forum aims provide a platform for interaction and networking for youth from the 21 APEC Economies to encourage mutual understanding and cooperation; encourage the active participation of young people on APEC-related issues and policies; cultivate a deeper appreciation of APEC and its work; provide learning opportunities for youth to interact with APEC leaders and business leaders; and prepare future leaders of APEC economies.
VOF was held for the first time in Malaysia in 1998. Since 2004, the forum has been included in programs of the annual APEC Summit Week.
The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and National Committee on Youth of Vietnam are recruiting 10 participants to the event who are Vietnamese youth aged 18-30, fluent in English and have thorough knowledge about the country and people of Vietnam, history, politics, culture – society and economics of the country./.
