So confirmed 12th PCC member and Secretary of the Bac Ninh provincial Party Committee Nguyen Nhan Chien on May 6th during his reception for Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Park Noh-Wan.

During the reception, Ambassador Park Noh-Wan appreciated the province’s fight against COVID-19 in which it made favourable conditions for stable economic development.

According to Mr Park Noh-Wan, despite restriction of immigration and suspension of exchange, the Vietnamese Government and Bac Ninh province have facilitated high quality human resources and Korean experts to enter the country and help businesses’ operation. “Samsung Vietnam’s proposals have been fully addressed by the province, helping the business maintain growth,” he said, adding that Bac Ninh is an example in the relationship between the two nations.

Expressing his thanks to Bac Ninh for supporting Korean businesses and noting that the pandemic has been controlled in the RoK, the Ambassador suggested Bac Ninh care for licensing new work permits for Korean laborers, assisting Korean businesses affected by COVID-19, and giving them loans for resuming production.

He also urged the province to make conditions for Korean supporters to work in the province and help Korean businesses overcome difficulties caused by COVID-19.

Appreciating Korean businesses’ success in Bac Ninh province, which he said makes important contributions to its socio-economic development, Mr. Chien expressed his hope that the Korean Embassy would continue to introduce Korean businesses and investors to invest in Bac Ninh; and make conditions for the province’s businesses to join the Samsung supply chain./.
