Cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and China’s Jiangsu province enhanced

At the reception, Mr. Pham Duc Hai said that Ho Chi Minh City has also paid much attention to enhancing ties with other localities of China through delegation exchanges and joint events to help reinforce people-to-people exchange.

He said Ho Chi Minh City has cooperative relations with eight Chinese localities. He hoped that the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Council and the Jiangsu People’s Congress will have more practical cooperation to further promote the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.

In addition, the two sides promote cooperation programs in fields of investment, tourism, cultural and sports exchange.

Mr. Liu Handong said that the visit to Ho Chi Minh City aims to strengthen economic partnerships and cultural exchange between the two bodies.

Jiangsu province has more than 20 businesses investing in Ho Chi Minh City. 

Earlier, the delegation had visited the capital Hanoi and the central city of Da Nang./.
