Cuba President presented with Ho Chi Minh Order

Communist Party of Vietnam General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong on November 9th awarded the Ho Chi Minh Order to Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, President of the Council of State and Council of Ministers of Cuba.
The President of the Council of State and Council of Ministers of Cuba is presented with the noble order for his contributions to the Vietnam - Cuba bilateral relationship.
President of the Council of State and Council of Ministers of Cuba Miguel Mario Diaz Canel Bermudez and his spouse started their official friendly visit to Vietnam from November 8th-10th at the invitation of the State President and the Prime Minister of Vietnam.
The visit is a step to continue bolstering the special relations between Vietnam and Cuba, and realise agreements reached during the State visit to Cuba by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and State President Nguyen Phu Trong in March this year, and the visit to Vietnam by Vice President of the Council of State of Cuba Salvador Valdes Mesa last September.
