There are currently 13 training departments at NPU, belonging to industry, agriculture, tourism, service, trade, business and aeroplane technology. It is receiving a significant number of Vietnamese students in different majors, especially in tourism, and is carrying out cooperative agreements with UDN, the University of Hue and other Vietnamese universities.

During meeting, NPU representatives expressed their hope that UDN would develop a program on training Thai language.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, UDN Director, said that the two sides should focus on increasing cooperative projects in scientific training and research for promoting the advantages of each side, and for mutual development during increasingly deep international integration, especially in tertiary education.

In 2008, UDN and NPU signed their first memorandum of understanding on cooperation, before being extended in 2013. Since then, the two sides have carried out diverse exchanges of students, lecturers, academy and culture./.
