Dong Nai’s individuals and collectives receive Lao noble orders

BounThong Divixay, member of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Champasak provincial Party Committee and Chief, authorized by Lao State President on November 13th awarded Lao State’s precious awards to individuals and collectives in Dong Nai province.

Accordingly, the second-class Freedom Orders were presented to Nguyen Phu Cuong, 12th PCC member, Secretary of the Dong Nai provincial Party Committee; and Dinh Quoc Thai, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee. Meanwhile, the third-class Freedom Order was presented to Tran Van Vinh, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; and the first-class Labour Medal to 3 collectives, including the Offices of the provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee, and the provincial Department of Foreign Affairs; and the Friendship Orders were also awarded to 5 collectives and 4 individuals.

Additionally, 28 individuals who are doctors, nurses and medical staff, received certificates of merit from Champasak provincial Party Committee Secretary and Chief.

Addressing the awarding ceremony, Mr. BounThong Divixay said that these are noble presents from the Lao State for collectives and individuals who have made great contributions to promoting the friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States and peoples.

Expressing his thanks for the Lao noble presents, Secretary Nguyen Phu Cuong said he hoped that the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Laos, as well as between Dong Nai province and Lao localities, would continuously develop.

There are currently two Dong Nai businesses investing in Laos. Since 2012, the province has trained 179 Lao students at universities, colleges and schools. Over the past time, the two sides have actively exchanged delegations, including Vietnam’s sending of medical delegations in humanitarian health programs in Laos./.
