He made the statement during his reception for a delegation of the Nur Otan People’s Party led by K.B. Zhumasev, Secretary of the Party’s Central Committee, who is on a visit to Vietnam, on November 21st.

During the reception, Secretary Hai stressed that Vietnam and Kazakhstan share long-term friendship, which is an invaluable asset of the two nations and must be reinforced and promoted.

According to Secretary Hai, Hanoi and Astana have set up cooperation since 2012. Since then, the two capitals have exchanged delegations, shared experience, held businesses’ meetings and promoted tourism. “However, the cooperation does not meet the potential,” he said, urging Secretary of the Nur Otan People’s Party, as well as the Party, to contribute to increase the cooperation.

Congratulating the Nur Otan People’s Party and Kazakhstan country and people on achievements gained, Secretary Hai expressed his belief that under the leadership of the Nur Otan People’s Party, the unity in the political system and the determination of the whole people, Kazakhstan will become more and more prosperous.

Agreeing with Secretary Hai, Secretary K.B. Zhumasev said that although much progress had been made in bilateral cooperation, especially in exchanges of high-ranking delegations, economics, energy and transport, it did not fit the potential.

He added that in the country’s national development strategy, Kazakhstan leaders realize the significant cooperation potential with Vietnam and among the two countries’ localities, especially the two capitals, in terms of digital technology, electronics, urban development and foreign investment./.
