Ho Chi Minh city, Cambodia increase cooperation in urban management and development

He made the statement during his reception for Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Sar Kheng and his delegation on January 9^th when they attended the 10^th meeting on cooperation and development between border provinces of Vietnam and Cambodia.

According to Mr. Phong, as Vietnam’s large economic center, Ho Chi Minh city has always respected and done its utmost to foster the two countries’ relationship, including its relationship with Cambodian localities, which is more and more practical and effective.

Expressing his hope to strengthen the relationship especially in tourism, agriculture, transport and waste treatment, Mr. Phong said the Vietnamese city will be willing to share experience in sustainable urban management and development, and mitigation of climate change with Cambodian localities.

For his part, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Sar Kheng thanked Ho Chi Minh city for always supporting Cambodia. He added that the 10^th meeting on cooperation and development between border localities of Vietnam and Cambodia aims to accelerate their cooperative relationship, while confirming that Cambodia will make favourable conditions for Vietnamese people in the country./.
