Ho Chi Minh city increases cooperation with Argentinean localities

Expressing his emotion at the Argentinean people’s good affection for President Ho Chi Minh, Mr. Liem stressed that the Vietnam - Argentina relationship was developing well. Over the past time, Ho Chi Minh city has exchanged high ranking delegations and organized meetings to promote trade cooperation with Argentinean localities. “In the near future, Ho Chi Minh city’s leaders will pay a working visit to Argentina to promote cooperation with its localities,” he said.

Going on to say that he was impressed by the 3 central Argentinean localities’ potential and economic achievements, Mr. Liem said he was pleased with trade promotion activities organized in Ho Chi Minh city between the two sides’ businesses, adding that he believed the two sides would have more opportunities to study and penetrate each other’s markets for increased trade and investment cooperation. He also expected to see cooperation in other areas such as people-to-people diplomacy, culture and sports, contributing to promoting the bilateral relationship between the two countries.

Mr. Bahl Adan Humberto expressed his honour to visit Ho Chi Minh city, a large economic and cultural centre of Vietnam and a locality named after leader Ho Chi Minh, Vietnamese hero who is respected and loved by Argentinean and Latin American people.

Introducing the potential of the three Argentinean localities which are considered the heart of Argentina, he said that they are strong in agricultural production, especially seeds, dairy products, fruits, poultry and meat.

“The Argentinean delegation coming to Ho Chi Minh city aims to seek investment cooperation with Vietnamese businesses, especially those importing agricultural products, and increase the relationship with Vietnamese localities in economics, tourism and culture,” he added.

Leaders of the 3 Argentinean localities confirmed their desire to link trade and investment with Ho Chi Minh city’s businesses, pledging to make the best conditions for the businesses in Argentinean markets, thus becoming the bridge for the businesses to enter Argentina’s neighbouring markets such as Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile./.
