The two countries now have many favorable conditions to develop cooperation, especially when the Hanoi - Prague direct flight is put into operation in early 2020, which will facilitate the further development of bilateral relations.

Mr. Liem was impressed by Minister Richard Brabec’s sharing and desired the agencies and businesses of Ho Chi Minh city and the Czech Republic approach each other and exchange information about the fields in which they can cooperate.

According to him, the city is also very interested in developing renewable energy, especially solar energy, and hopes to promote cooperation with the Czech Republic in this field.

At the meeting, Mr. Richard Brabec expressed his impression of the development and success of Ho Chi Minh city. He added that the Czech Republic has achieved many successes in the field of environment, such as improving air and water conditions, applying modern technologies in waste treatment, reducing CO2 emissions by up to 95% after 30 years, and classifying waste, especially plastic waste.

He hopes to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam, including Ho Chi Minh city, in these fields./.
