Ho Chi Minh city leader receives Communist Party of Bangladesh President

During the reception, Ms Dung thanked the Communist Party of Bangladesh and Bangladeshi people for the precious assistance granted to Vietnam during the earlier struggle for national liberation, as well as in the current process for national construction and protection.

On the basis of the good relations between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Communist Party of Bangladesh, and between the two countries, in the future, the two countries will hold diverse opportunities to increase economic cooperation for the benefit of the two countries, for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and in the world, according to Ms Dung.

She confirmed that part of Ho Chi Minh city’s achievements today had been brought about with the support and assistance from international friends, including the Communist Party of Bangladesh, saying, “The Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee, authority and people will do their utmost to promote the friendship with Communist Parties in the world, including the Communist Party of Bangladesh.”

Sharing his memories of Communist Party of Bangladesh members’ taking to the streets to support Vietnam’s struggle for national independence and unification, President Mudahidun Islam Selim confirmed that the Communist Party of Bangladesh and Bangladeshi people always hope to promote solidarity and friendship between the two Parties and peoples, for the common prosperity of the two countries and for peace in the world.

Showing his impression of Vietnam’s strong development, including Ho Chi Minh city, he praised the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam in addressing arising problems during national construction and development.

He added that the Communist Party of Vietnam’s experience in revolution and national construction and development is precious experience for Communist Parties in the world./.
