Ho Chi Minh City leader welcomes new Cambodian Consul General

Congratulating the new Consul General, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong committed to create favourable conditions for the working term of Mr. Sok Dareth.

The Chairman hoped that the Consul General will be a bridge to promote the cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and Cambodia’s localities through specific projects in the coming time, contributing to promoting the good relations between the two countries.

Mr. Sok Dareth expressed his pleasure with the achievements the two countries have gained and emphasized that he will make efforts to protect these achievements. 

He also expressed his gratitude to the government and people of Vietnam for helping Cambodia in its cause of national liberation, construction and development, and desired that the administration of Ho Chi Minh City create favourable conditions for him during his office term./.
