Ho Chi Minh city marks US National Day

Addressing the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh city People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem stressed that throughout a lot of ups and downs in the past, the Vietnam - US relationship has now become a strategic partnership. Of which, Ho Chi Minh city has made active contribution to the comprehensive partnership between the two countries by effectively carrying out cooperation with the US.

He thanked the US for sharing experience and making conditions for the city to learn from the US smart city model.

US Ambassador to Vietnam Ted Osius stressed the achievements gained in economic and educational cooperation between the two countries over the past time, showing his belief that the cooperative relationship will grow more strongly in the future./.
