Ho Chi Minh city is willing to share experience in human resources training, education and healthcare with Laos, as training is the best condition for the Vietnamese and Lao young generation to promote friendship between the two countries.

So said Nguyen Thien Nhan, Politburo member and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee, during his reception for new Lao Consul General to the city, Phimpha Keomixay, on April 17th.
During the reception, he sent his best regards to the Lao people on the occasion of the country’s traditional New Year holiday, and expressed his hope that the Lao Consul General would continue to make contributions to the two countries’ relationship.
Adding that, as Ho Chi Minh city is willing to share experience with Laos in training human resources, the city will encourage Lao students to visit some places in the city, including the hi-tech park, the biotechnology center and large universities.
Showing her desire to receive the city’s coordination in promoting and expanding the relationship between the two countries, Ms Phimpha Keomixay said that Laos hoped to learn from the experience of the Vietnamese city in constructing and developing Lao cities, especially in increasing human resource quality for national development.
She also called on Vietnamese businesses to invest in Laos, contributing to boosting comprehensive bilateral cooperation./.
