Japanese young business delegationseeks investment cooperation in southern hub

Showing his pleasure with the increasingly effective cooperation between Japan and Vietnam, including Ho Chi Minh city, Mr. Liem said that Ho Chi Minh city has developed a wide range of export processing and industrial zones for attracting foreign investors, including Japanese. Each year, the city organizes diverse meetings with Japanese businesses and associations to tackle any obstacles that investors encounter.

Appreciating the visit to Ho Chi Minh city by the Youth Department, he expressed his hope that the delegation would work closely with the city Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the city Young Business Association on long-term and sustainable exchange and cooperative programs.

According to Mr. Uchida Shigenobu, the delegation, which includes over 100 representatives from Japanese young businesses, will visit industrial zones and seek investment cooperation with Ho Chi Minh city.

Stressing that the Japan Industry and Trade Association, including the Youth Department of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, hope to promote economic and investment development in Vietnam as it, especially Ho Chi Minh city, holds great potential, he added the cooperation would help further reinforce the Vietnam - Japan friendship./.
