Lao National Day marked in Vietnam

A ceremony was held on November 28th by the Ho Chi Minh city Union of Friendship Organizations and the city Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association to mark the 43rd anniversary of the Lao National Day.

During the ceremony, Somxay Sanamoune, Lao General Consul to Ho Chi Minh city, confirmed that over the past 43 years, under the leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Laos has gained many important achievements in national construction and protection.
The great relationship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos have been fostered for continuous development in all areas.
Vietnam is investing over USD4.1 billion in Laos, ranking 3rd among countries and economies investing in this country. In the first 9 months of this year, the two sides reported trade turnover of over USD758 million./.
