Organization helps expand international markets for Vietnamese goods

The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) will continue to link localities, ministries and agencies to promote trade activities between Vietnamese businesses and those in foreign countries, in order to expand export markets for Vietnamese goods.

So stressed Hau A Lenh, 12th PCC member, Deputy President and Secretary General of the VFF, during his working meeting with a delegation from the Business Association of Overseas Vietnamese (BAOOV) led by Peter Hong, BAOOV Standing Deputy President and Secretary General, on February 18th

According to Mr. Peter Hong, BAOOV has 371 members across 38 countries and territories, in charge of promoting the strength of Vietnamese businesspersons and businesses in seeking domestic and international investment opportunities, and supporting domestic businesses during integration. 

“BAOOV is always willing to support domestic Vietnamese businesses seeking suitable customers and partners in foreign countries, and help foreign businesses link with domestic businesses,” he said. 

He added that over 3,000 Vietnamese people-owned companies overseas had provided good quality products for foreign markets. “In 2020, BAOOV will continue to bring Vietnamese high-quality goods to regional and world countries, and encourage Vietnamese businesses inside the country and overseas to increase the quality of export products, thus contributing to heightening the prestige of Vietnamese goods on the international market,” he went on to say. 

For his part, Hau A Lenh promoted VFF efforts in encouraging businesses to apply advanced technologies and innovative production processes to produce better quality goods. “Many products have become Vietnamese people’s pride,” he said. 

He urged BAOOV to help Vietnamese businesses master investment opportunities and create conditions for Vietnamese goods to come to foreign goods promotion centers./.
