PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc leaves for Belt and Road Forum in Beijing

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and a high-ranking delegation of Vietnam left Hanoi on April 25th morning for the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing, China, from April 25th to 27th.

He is accompanied by Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Transport Nguyen Van The, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha, and Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate Le Minh Khai, among others.

PM Phuc’s trip to attend the second Belt and Road Forum, made at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and President of China Xi Jinping, takes place amidst the stable development and new strides in the two countries’ relations.

Regular mutual high-level visits and meetings have helped enhance political trust between the two sides. Exchange and cooperation mechanisms at different levels and between their sectors and localities have continued to be implemented effectively.

Meanwhile, economic, trade, investment and tourism partnerships have kept growing. People-to-people exchange has also been promoted strongly./.
