CNN Television’s promotion of Hanoi in particular and Vietnam in general has successfully reached audiences around the world, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung has said.

He made the statement during the December 5th reception for a delegation from CNN television led by Sunita Rajan, Senior Vice President, Advertising Sales, Asia Pacific, CNN International Commercial, who came to Hanoi to work on the cooperative program between CNN and Hanoi, as well as the cooperative plan in the upcoming time.
During the reception, Ms Sunita Rajan confirmed that the cooperation between CNN and Hanoi over the past 2 years has gained remarkable achievements. According to CNN, the recognition of Hanoi image has been improved strongly, especially on social networks, thus helping strengthen promotion in the years to come.
“CNN wants to continue to cooperate with Hanoi, especially in introducing major upcoming events such as the Formula One Racing and SEAGAMES,” she said.
Appreciating the cooperation between CNN and Hanoi over the past 2 years, Chairman Chung said that Hanoi has learned from CNN’s professional way of working, including the analysis of data towards promotion programs.
Mr Chung said Hanoi will continue to cooperate with CNN, expressing his hope that CNN will support the Vietnamese capital city in training communications staff, and sharing audience data analysis to help Hanoi develop effective promotion methods.
