RoK PM to attend national funeral of President Tran Dai Quang

Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea (RoK) Lee Nak-yon will arrive in Vietnam on September 25th to attend the national funeral of President Tran Dai Quang, announced the RoK Presidential Palace on September 24th.
President Tran Dai Quang started to serve as the State leader of Vietnam in April 2016 (Photo: VNA) According to Senior Secretary to the President for Public Communications Yoon Young-chan, PM Lee will pay tribute to the late President on September 26th.
On September 22nd, President Moon Jae-in expressed his regret and conveyed profound condolences to the family of the late President and the Vietnamese people over the great loss.
The same day, President of Italy Sergio Mattarella cabled a message of condolences to acting President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh.
He extended the sincere sympathies of himself and the Italian people over the passing of the Vietnamese leader.
President Mattarella said that through the exchange of congratulatory messages marking the 45th anniversary of Vietnam-Italy diplomatic ties several months ago, he and President Quang had affirmed the importance of the strategic and dynamic partnership between the two nations./.
